Shinjuku

Shinjuku is one of the better-known areas of Tokyo, rich in history and significant as a governmental center. Sadly, I didn't get to spend very much time there during my stay in Japan.

The headquarters of NTT DoCoMo, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies, rises high above the buildings near Shinjuku's tran station. My friends and classmates Alan and Delen kill time while we wait for another student to escort us up to the Tocho Tower. On a drive through Shinjuku en route to Odaiba, I took this picture of the main drag lit up and buzzing with activity.
