During a trip with classmates, we ended up in the neighborhood of Koto-ku. Nestled away from the touristy areas like Asakusa, Koto-ku offers a sampling of history. The Edo History Museum includes a large-scale replica of the houses and living conditions of years past. We found a large flea market at a Buddhist shrine. A stone monument honors famed sumo wrestlers of years past.
