  • August 4: Trip to Shibuya, Koto-ku, and Hibiya -- and the Godzilla statue located in Hibiya
  • August 6: 57th anniversary of the atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima
  • August 12: Meeting a friend's father's friend
  • August 14: In-class presentation
  • August 16: Last day of classes
  • August 17: The flight home, which took zero time after accounting for the time zone difference
